Clay concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, real estate, estate planning, and transactional matters.  Clay has a broad range of experience in many different areas, including mergers, acquisitions, real estate, estate planning, corporate governance, telecommunications, alternative energy, commercial finance, and corporate structuring. He works with public and private companies, entrepreneurs, and sophisticated investors to help them structure and close complex business transactions in a variety of matters. Prior to joining Fuchs & Roselli, Ltd., Clay worked for another Chicago law firm and owned his own practice representing clients in corporate transactional affairs, real estate, employment law, tax, and estate planning.

As a former owner of a small business with a client list that varies from individual investors to a Fortune 20 company, he strives to provide every client with the quality of service, knowledge, and professionalism expected in the country’s top boardrooms, with the personal attention of a smaller firm.  He’s well-versed in the individual needs of clients of all sizes and takes a personal approach to cater to the needs of each client and individual situation.

In addition to his transactional experience, Clay works closely with individuals, families, and closely held businesses on estate planning, succession planning, structuring, family office, and wealth preservation matters.  He also assists clients with tax structuring, employment agreements, and non-profit formation.
