Scott represents and counsels small to mid-sized corporations, individuals, and financial institutions in a broad range of civil litigation matters.  He focuses his practice on cases involving shareholder disputes, breaches of contracts, construction litigation, fraud, landlord-tenant disputes, employment disputes, business torts, and enforcement of loan documents.  In representing his clients, Scott leverages his courtroom skills, business acumen, and advanced knowledge of technology to effectively and efficiently achieve his clients’ goals.


Prior to joining Fuchs & Roselli, Ltd, Scott amassed significant experience through his work as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.  In this capacity, Scott drafted and filed dozens of briefs before the First District Appellate Court of Illinois, as well as several Petitions for Leave to Appeal before the Illinois Supreme Court, and he has argued twice before the First District Appellate Court.


In his prior position, Scott also conducted hundreds of bench trials, motions, and related hearings, and brought over ten jury trials to verdict.  Upon transferring to the Civil Unit of the State’s Attorney’s Office, Scott primarily defended Cook County employees from civil complaints brought in both federal and state court.


Scott resides in Lake Forest with his wife and four children and coaches all of their various sports teams.
